Experience the journey through three short films.
Formula Africa™ is being developed as a long-term platform connecting motorsport with education, STEM, engineering, technology, media, culture, live events, leadership and future skills — supporting the development of engineers, technicians, strategists, innovators, entrepreneurs, content creators, broadcasters, event professionals and future industry leaders alongside sporting talent.
Built in partnership with African nations, institutions and communities — not imposed from outside.
Centred on African talent, African leadership and African ambition at every level.
Every programme, partnership and pathway exists to serve the long-term future of Africa's young people.
Sport for impact. Racing as a vehicle for transformation, education and global access.
The platform is being developed with input from experienced leaders across each discipline and through collaboration with universities, educational institutions, industry experts and strategic partners in Africa and internationally. Formula Africa™ intends to build constructive relationships with recognised sporting institutions and governing bodies, aligning where appropriate with the best-practice frameworks promoted by organisations such as the FIA and SIGA.
Formula Africa™ intends to commence a Pan-African programme of live activations during Q4 2026, bringing together motorsport, education, STEM, engineering, technology, culture and community engagement.
The initial programme is expected to expand across approximately six to eight African nations, combining flagship live activations with the progressive development of permanent infrastructure, educational programmes and long-term regional partnerships.
To establish a connected network of sustainable motorsport ecosystems across Africa — where live activations act as catalysts for lasting investment in education, engineering, technology, talent development, media, innovation and community impact.
"Formula Africa™ is founded on the belief that world-class opportunity should be more accessible. Xevi's appointment represents an important step in that journey and reflects a shared commitment to collaboration, excellence and long-term impact. We have frequently been told that this vision is ambitious. We agree. The difference is that we are building it through strategic partnerships, experienced leadership and long-term collaboration. Progress is accelerating, and today's announcement marks the first public milestone in what we believe will become one of the continent's most significant motorsport and future skills initiatives."
— Julia Green, CEO & Founder, Formula Africa™
Today's announcement is a major strategic milestone — one of several planned over the next three months — that will demonstrate the sustainable foundation being built for this Pan-African motorsport ecosystem. Formula Africa™ is intended to evolve through collaboration with institutions, governance, educational bodies, industry, sporting organisations, commercial partners, investors and communities.
Because talent is universal. Opportunity should be too.
